In this time of history, when gender and sexual confusion is reaching new heights in all aspects of public and private life, our network of ministries stands on the beauty of God’s life-giving Word. We are not afraid to discuss with empathy and understanding issues central to the human soul--sexual and relational issues. Yet we hold up the power of God to redeem individuals and families from sin’s control, even in the area of homosexuality.
If you are a person who is attracted to others of the same gender, are confused about your gender identity, are impacted by another’s confusion as a parent, a child, a family member or pastor, leader or friend, Restored Hope is here to walk alongside you to help find the answers you seek. There is only One who has everything necessary for life and godliness--and He intends for you to have a future and hope.
We hope this site will provide you resources that will equip and encourage you.
Higher Ground is a lay ministry of Christian discipleship in New York City to renew mind and spirit over unwanted same-sex attractions.
Higher Ground was founded in January 2009 as a New York City-based lay ministry of redemptive Christian discipleship for men and women in whose lives unwanted feelings of same-sex attraction (SSA) have happened. We think of our purpose in terms of encouraging and mentoring participants to become more mature – spiritually and emotionally – rather than of offering purported methods of cure. We put our trust in a Person – Jesus Christ as Savior and Shepherd – rather than in a technique.
Growth into Manhood: Resuming the Journey
by Alan Medinger
A breakthrough plan for males to re-enter the world of men.
What happens when a boy grows physically into an adult male but misses some of the experiences and relationships that help form complete manhood? Alan Medinger writes for such men and for those who care about them.
Within the context of his own release from homosexuality and his growth into “confident and comfortable” manhood, Medinger offers hope to others. For homosexually oriented men, such growth is an essential but often overlooked step in the process of healing. This ground-breaking study could well change many lives.
