The Rev. Bob Ragan is the director of the Regeneration of Northern Virginia (NoVA) office. Bob lived as a gay-identified man for 11 years until 1987. He first contacted Regeneration for support in 1988 and became the full-time director in January 1993. He has served as board chair for national and international ministry organizations. His testimony has been published in Charisma Magazine and several books. He has been an invited speaker ministering across the US, Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia. Bob is an ordained deacon in the Anglican Church.

Bob provides discipleship, prayer ministry, and coordinates support groups in the DC metro area for those struggling with numerous forms of sexual and relational brokenness. He also assists churches and Christian counselors by providing speaking opportunities and specialized seminars.

Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX) is a national non-profit organization committed to providing help, hope, and support to the parents and friends of homosexuals and gender confused men and women and supports the ex-gay community.

PFOX believes every person seeking positive life change needs and deserves the love and support of family, friends, the community, and the church. PFOX works to educate, support, and advocate for individual rights to self-determination and to increase understanding and inclusion of the ex-gay community in the discussion about same-sex attractions, homosexuality, and gender confusion.

PFOX offers a place for help, a place for truth, and a place for the ex-gay to participate in the conversation about same-sex attraction.

Founded in May 1998, PFOX was created specifically to be an alternative to the misinformed gay family groups which insist that parents can only prove their love for their gay child if they support gay rights and affirm their child’s self-proclaimed gay identity. PFOX helps parents keep families together through unconditional love without placing any conditions on that love.

PFOX has a long and proud history of educating society on the facts about sexual orientation and that ex-gays prove that change is possible. The thousands of men and women who made a decision to change their lives have benefited from their parents, friends, and loved ones being equipped with the truth about their struggle as they begin their journey of change.
