I am a Mental Health Counselor who previously practiced as a Psychiatrist, allowing me to approach hurting people with all the skills of a compassionate counselor and yet understand the importance of referral for medication should that be needed. No definite end goal in therapy is guaranteed for any client or patient.
I have received training through The Alliance for Therapeutic Choice and Scientific Integrity and NARTH Institute. I am a referral therapist for Focus on the Family. I believe that experiencing authentic manhood and meeting same-sex emotional needs in healthy, affirming ways are worthy life goals for men. My own life experiences inform my empathy for clients and counseling approach.
